A local favourite with a secret view into Glendalough. Trooperstown Hill is one of those mountains locals quietly keep to themselves. From the summit ridge you get a remarkable hidden view straight into the Glendalough valley — a perspective most visitors never see. Turn the other direction and the view stretches all the way to the Irish Sea. At the summit we pause to soak in the scenery and enjoy homemade Irish scones with tea or coffee — a special moment in a spectacular setting. Highlights • Hidden view into Glendalough • Views across Wicklow and out to the Irish Sea • Quiet local mountain route • Homemade summit scones Duration: 3 hours Terrain: Forest tracks and mountain trails Footwear: Good runners or trail shoes Private group rate: €180.00 for a group of up to 4 (additional participants €40.00 p/p) Payment & Group Size Minimum Group Price A minimum group rate of €180.00 (covering up to 4 participants) is required at the time of booking to secure your half day guided walk. Additional Participants Additional participants (beyond the initial 4) can be added on the day of the walk and will be charged at the individual participant rate of €40.00. Payment Methods for Additional Participants Payment for additional participants can be made on the day by: Cash, Bank Card, Revolut Maximum Group Size The maximum group size for guided walks is 12 participants. If your group exceeds 12 participants, please contact us directly to discuss arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy Weather & Event Cancellations Stride Guided Walks will proceed in most weather conditions. Events will only be cancelled by Stride in the case of an official Orange weather warning or higher, or due to unforeseen circumstances where we believe conditions may be unsafe for participants. If Stride cancels an event, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Payment Terms Full minimum group payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on a guided walk. Customer Cancellation & Refunds 7 days or more before the event: Full refund Between 7 days and 24 hours before the event: 50% refund Within 24 hours of the event: No refund (payment retained in full) We appreciate your understanding, as cancellations at short notice impact planning and availability for other participants.
