Level 3 – Summit Adventure Stand on the highest mountain in Wicklow. For experienced walkers looking for a real mountain day, this is the ultimate Wicklow adventure. Approaching from the quieter western side, we begin from a lesser-known start point and climb onto the ridge of Slievemaan before continuing towards Lugnaquilla’s broad summit. The landscape here feels wild and remote with huge views across the Wicklow Mountains. Reaching the summit of Lugnaquilla is a memorable moment — standing on the highest point in the range. Highlights • Summit of Wicklow’s highest mountain • Remote mountain landscape • Big mountain views • A true Wicklow challenge Duration: 5–6 hours Distance: 11 km & 750 m climb Terrain: Mountain trails and open hill terrain Fitness level: Good fitness and comfortable walking in the mountains Footwear: Walking boots or good trail shoes (in dry conditions!) Private Group Rate: €260 for a group of up to 4 (additional participants €50.00 p/p) Payment & Group Size Minimum Group Price A minimum group rate of €260.00 (covering up to 4 participants) is required at the time of booking to secure your half day guided walk. Additional Participants Additional participants (beyond the initial 4) can be added on the day of the walk and will be charged at the individual participant rate of €50.00. Payment Methods for Additional Participants Payment for additional participants can be made on the day by: Cash, Bank Card, Revolut Maximum Group Size The maximum group size for guided walks is 12 participants. If your group exceeds 12 participants, please contact us directly to discuss arrangements.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Cancellation Policy Weather & Event Cancellations Stride Guided Walks will proceed in most weather conditions. Events will only be cancelled by Stride in the case of an official Orange weather warning or higher, or due to unforeseen circumstances where we believe conditions may be unsafe for participants. If Stride cancels an event, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Payment Terms Full minimum group payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on a guided walk. Customer Cancellation & Refunds 7 days or more before the event: Full refund Between 7 days and 24 hours before the event: 50% refund Within 24 hours of the event: No refund (payment retained in full) We appreciate your understanding, as cancellations at short notice impact planning and availability for other participants.
