Private Training Weekend for Participants Only - 22nd/23rd February 2025 This is the first of two recommended training and preparation weekends for the exciting 26 Mountains 2 Mayo mountain challenge! This weekend is designed to set you up for success, covering everything you need to know: from daily logistics and gear preparation to nutrition, self-care, and effective training. On Day 1, we’ll start with an informative indoor session before heading out for a hill walk. Day 2 takes it up a notch as we simulate a 26 mountains day by conquering three individual peaks, travelling between them to experience the rhythm of completing one hike, cooling down, and reigniting your energy for the next. This weekend also provides a fantastic opportunity to get to know each other and start building a strong core team for the challenge ahead. Programme: Saturday 22nd Feb 09.30 am Meet in Laragh for indoor session 11.30 am Hill walk 4.30 pm Finish Walk Evening: meet for dinner in a local bar for chats and craic! Sunday 23rd Feb 08.00 am Meet for day of walks 05.00 pm Training weekend ends
